1. A cure for a sty is to prod the sign of the cross on it three times. Another cure for a sty is to make the sign of the cross on it with a gold ring.
2. A cure for a wart is to rub a snail on it; stick a snail on a "sciog", and as the snail decays the wart will also decay. Another cure for a wart is to make three crosses out of three straws and bury them, and as the straws decay the wart will also decay.
