    Chilblanes - Heat washing soda before the fire and rub it on your legs
    Boils - (1) Put soap and sugar on the boil.
    (2) Another cure is cows manure.
    Cough - (1) Put tree teaspoons of black currant jam in hot water eat the jam and drink the water.
    (2) Eat butter with sugar mixed with it.
    Burns - (1) Rub lard on the burn.
    (2) Another cure is rub olive-oil on the burn
