    When the moon has a halo it's a sure sign of rain.
    A rainbow in the morning is a shepherds / sailor's warning. A rainbow in the night is a shepherds / sailor's delight.
    Watery sun indicates rain soon
    Winds from the south west always bring rain
    Hoar frost brings the rain sooner or later
    When the clouds chase each other across the sky its a sign of a coming storm.
    When Tory Hill (a hill in the vicinity) is capped its a sure sign of rain
    When the swallows fly low its a sign of rain & when the swallows fly high its a sign of fine weather
    If sea-gulls come inland its a sign of bad weather at sea
    When a dog eats grass its a sign of rain
    When the cat sits near the fire & turns his back to it its a sign of rain
    When goats who are tied together
