Ar an leathanach seo

  1. Ullid Church which has been alreay stated in this book was destroyed by Cromwell and his soldiers. Part of the four walls can still be seen, and the place were the Tabernacle stool is now marked by a Stone Cross under which a man named Ryan with his six children are buried.
    The following inscriptions are on the tombstones which can be read of course a great many cannot be deciphered as they are effaced by time.
    1. There is a small stone about one foot high. The inscription on it is Robert Dulehenly 1725. The inscription on others are:-
    2. Erected by Rich'd Knox in memory of his daughter Alice Knox who died Dec 28th 1796 aged 26 years.
    3. Erected by James Sheehen in memory of his father Michael Sheehen who dep'd this life May 17th 1807 aged 65 years. Also his brother Lawrence who departed this life Dec 9th 1809 aged 22 years.
