Ar an leathanach seo

  1. There are names on all the fields in our farm. The following are the names of the fields,
the Forge Field - It is called the Forge Field because there was a forge there long ago. This forge was owned by a family named Alyward who dwelt there long ago. The ruins of the forge are to be seen there still. All the Alyward family are gone with the exception of one man who is living in a shop in Ballyhale. This man is the son of the smilth who worked in the forge.
The Rath Field - It is called the Rath Field because there is a Rath there. It is a middle sized Rath with a round wall and trees all around it. We never remember to see it ploughed.
