    The care of farm animals.
    The animals on our farm are Cows horses pigs a Donkey and calves.
    There are names on several of the cows as Polly, Fawny, Blue-bird ect.
    The house in which the cows are kept is called the cowhouse.
    The cows (cows) are tied with chains to stakes.
    When cows are wild people tie them by the leg with rope which is kept for the purpose.
    I never heard of a branch or emblem hung in the cowhouse at any time to bring luck on the stock.
    In olden time people used to milk each others cows on certain times of the year.
