    The care of feet
    In former time people never wore boots or shoes untill they got married. In Summer children go to Shool barefooted (to School)
    I have never heard of any old custom in connection with the water in which the feet are washed.
    Boots are repaired locally but are not made.
    Shoe makers were more numerous in former times owing to the scarcity of factories.
    Clogs about fifty year ago but are not now.
    Leather was not made locally neigher was foot covering of any kind.
    Water in which feet are washed is thrown out at night time not during the day.
