  1. Dowling
My home district is called Dowling in the parish of Templeorum in the Barony of Iverk.
There are ten families in the townsland and the number of people is thirty two.
Walsh is the most common name in the District.
    All the houses are slated.
Dowling gets its name from a lock or pool which was there in olden times.
There are only two people over seventy they have no Irish but can tell stories in English.
