  1. Food in olden times
    Three meals were eaten in olden times. Breakfast dinner and supper, seven o'clock in the morning one o'clock dinner and supper at six n the evening.
    The people did their work before eating. Oaten porridge and new milk for breakfast potatoes, fish and salt and peggins of milk for dinner; oaten meal stirabout and new milk for supper.
    The table used to hang against the wall and left down when in use.
    Oaten meal bread, barley and wheaten bread mixed the bread was mixed with milk and baked on a griddle, cream cakes were also baked on griddles.
    Meat was only eaten on Sundays, salt meat was used veal fish and all sorts of vegetables.
    Some people used to eat potatoes three times a day with salt and milk.
    People didn't eat late at night .
    There's a big pot of eggs but down for the family on Easter Sunday, that
