- Once upon a time there was an innocent old man he had a son named jack they both worked for a gentleman who lived in a castle near them after a time jack was sacked so the father went to the gentleman and he said to him that he would like to give jack a trade and he asked the jentleman what trade would he recommend to give jak and the gentleman told him to send him to serve his time to be a thief he is well adapted for it so the father came home and told jack so jack started out to look for a master so one day in his rambles and he going through a wood he met two men who asked him where he was going he told them his story so they said they would take him on.
They were two robbers they took jack to their camp in the wood and that night they brought him to a gentleman's house to rob it after telling jack the(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)
