Hidden Treasure
Long ago, and long ago here was a man who dreamt there was a pot of gold hidden at Lung Bridge, near Frenchpark, he dreamed of it three nights after other "whereas I dreamt it three nights he said to himself. "what harm to go and look for it" He set off before day-break, and when he reached the bridge, he walked up and down for awhile. A man,, living near Lung Bridge got up very early to watch thieving cattle, and he saw the stranger walking up and down the bridge. he went as far as him and said "is it any harm to ask you, are you looking for anything" or "what has you here so early". The man told him all about his dream. "Never give heed to dreams" says the other man I was dreaming, there was a pot of gold in a certain man's garden (naming the man he was talking to) under a sally tree and I never gave(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)
