    People say it is not right to give or take milk on May Day or New Years Day.
    On St. John's Eve people make a bonfire and they used have great feasting. They used to have (g) milk and bread and sometimes they used to kill fowl and roast it in the fire. When they are going home someone likes to have the first coal to throw into the field so the crops will be good for the year.
    On November night people have great amusemt. They play all sorts of games on that night. It is an old costom in this district to steal cabbage and kick it round the road.
    When people kill fowl for St Martin's Day they sprinkle the blood in the four corners of the house.
    At Christmas the usual Christmas feast is held, on Christmas Eve night. For a week after people
