“Once there was a man who was going to the market with two firkins of butter.”
Once there was a man who was going to the market with two firkins of butter. He got two asses with creels on them and put one firkin of butter in one creel and he put enough of stones to balance it in the other creel. He did the same with the other ass and creels.
He went on his way until he met a man who asked him why did he not put the two firkins of butter on one ass, so he answered "aw it would be too heavy a load for one ass."(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile) - Bailitheoir
