    Shrove Tuesday
Shrove Tuesday is seven weeks before Easter. There is always a feast in every house. People eat pan-cakes and other nice things on Shrove Tuesday. Ash Wednesday comes after Shrove Tuesday. Boys go and play games out in the fields or by the roadside. The boys put cord along the road to tangel the girls up in it.
