    Roinn Roinn Postáil
    Once upon a time there lived an old tramp and he was very poor. He went to a house and asked could he stop the night. You can stop altogether if you give me ten shillings a week.
    "All right", said the old man. "Very well" said the woman "you can stay". After a few days the woman put down a pot of water and he asked her what she wanted with it. She said "I am going to wash clothes", and he went up into his own room and took off his old shirt and came down with it and threw it into the pot and he said "Give that a wash for me too". Then she told him the truth. She said "I was going to make a bit of stirabout. The man said "you told me you were going to wash clothes". "But I only wanted to get you to go out of my way".
