- Not far from Punchestown Race-Course in a field near the Naas Road; there stands a tall pointed pillar stone called "Finn Mac Cool's Tooth-Pick".The story goes that the giant Finn, who lived on the Hill of Allen, had a bad tooth-ache & in his rage & pain he threw his tooth-pick from him & it dropped in the field where it now stands, many miles from the Hill of Allen.
