  1. The crow makes a very nice nest. She gets sticks and puts them in her beak and lays them crossways between the branches. Then she puts mud in it to keep it firm. Then she puts soft grass and wool in it. She lays four eggs they are blue with little black spots on them.

  2. A corn-crake makes its nest in a meadow and sometimes she makes it in corn, she makes her nest of grass and feathers. She lays about twelve eggs and their colour are white with brown spots through them.
