- In olden times the Bishop used come every five years. there were big men and wemon, and a large congregation of them, wearing no shoes. There were two classes of them. An Irish class and an English class. The Irish class were placed around the altar and anex Sullivan teaching them. The English class were in the seats and curate teaching them. They used to go to school in the morning and put their name in the roll book and then walk up to Lauragh. They used to go up every week for about a year.
