  1. Story.
Once a tramp went into a house and asked for a piece of dinner. The woman of the house gave him meat and soup. The plate was full of soup and the meat was in the middle of the soup. The meat was so small that you could hardly see it. The tramp got up from the table and put away his chair. He put the plate of soup in the middle of the floor. Then, he took off his coat and waistcoat. He was just going to take off the rest of his clothes but the man of the house caught him and asked him what did he mean. The tramp said, "I saw a small piece of meat in the soup, but I suppose it sank to the bottom, because I don't see it atall now, so I must swim in for it."
