    About 60 years ago there was a hedge school in the townland of Bragan.

    every scholar would take a bundle of straw and some scollops and some man would be appointed to thatch it.
    There was no desks, but instead big stones on which the scholars would sit or maybe write.
    The Hedge schools are done away with now and the masters have houses of their own.

    Once upon a time there was a man called Skys Treanor who was very good at making clothes.

    Once upon a time there was a man called "Skip Treanor who was very good at making clothes. In some cases he would make in the the persons's house and at other times in his own house. He would make the coats fairly long and they were therefore called "Swallow Tailed" coats
    After his meals he would say to the people of the house "What is this I was doing last." So the people of the house would say "you were making a coat" He would answer them saying "Oh yes"
