Severe Weather.
About the year 1929,there was a great wind storm.It began in the morning and continued all day.There was great damage done to animals,houses and woods and many people lost their lives.Roofs were blown off houses and many people were left homeless. Severe Weather.
In the year 1935,there was a snow storm. A priest had to go about seven miles on a sick call to the Knockatallon district,to a house on the mountain.No one could go out but the priest had to go on horse-back.Buses and cars got stuck in the snow.
