    If the sun sinks red in the west you may expect the next day to be a good day. If it sinks clouded you may expect a bad day the next day.
    Moon
    If there is a circle of darkness around the moon there is going to be bad weather.
    Stars
    If the stars and the moon are out a night shining brightly it is a sing it is going to freeze that night and you may expect the next day to be good.
    Clouds
    When there are heavy clouds in the sky you may expect rain.
    Rain
    When you see a rainbow in the sky it is a sign of rain.
    A rain bow, at night, is a sailours delight.
    A rain bow, in the morning is a sailours warning.
    Sings of bad Weather
    When suit falls from the chimney you may expect bad damp weather. When the cat lies close with his back to the fire that is a sign of rain. When the curlew whistles high up in the air that is a sing there is going to be bad weather.
    When a croud of crows gather to gather on a hill a pick that is a sign there is going to be bad weather
    When the wind blows from the west that is a sign there is going to be rain. When the sea gulls are seen flying.
