Ar an leathanach seo
- (ar lean ón leathanach roimhe)put cold water in the tub and then we take off the butter with a strainer. When the butter gets a kind of hard in the water we empty the water of it and then we "hair" it. That is to say we take any hair that is in it out of it. Then we put salt in it to make it taste.
Bread is made with the butter-milk. Young pigs also get the butter-milk and some times butter-milk porridge is boiled for the young turkeys.
- There are two forges in this parish.
One of the smiths is Barney Clerkin and the other one is Peter Mc Entee.
Their fathers were also smiths. One of them is at Three-Mile-House and the other one is at Tappa. They are situated at cross roads.
