   Roinn Roinn Postáil

   (ar lean ón leathanach roimhe)

   Now, my dear friends I ask in conclusion
   That you will tell me by tomorrow morn
   Oh! tell me surely & tell me truly
   Did Johnny Moore cut Beagin's corn?

   To - night I fear I won't rest contented
   I'll lie often wakened by a fearful crash
   For when I nod I'll think I'm on the sod
   Where lame Johnny Moore made the sudden dash.

   The man that draws the creamy milk (Felix Beagin)
   Will never more be poor
   For the men that cut his corn
   They call them Neill & Moore.

   They put the scythe on their shoulders
   And down the road they went
   And when they cut old Ireland
   They sailed for a place called Kent.

   When they cut old England
   They took another chance
   And then they crossed the Channel
   And landed in sunny France.
