There are three old houses in my townland. There are many stories told about Logwood hill and Fir Breage. It is told that on the black pig's travels he made the track of his foot on a stone. Another story is told that a giant threw a stone from Carn Hill to Logwood Hill. There is another told that a Priest was saying Mass on Fir Breage hill and the English came along and shot the Priest and buried him on the hill and put two stones over him one over his head and the other over his feet., There are two lakes under the hill and it is supposed they have no bottom. There are no lakes in my townland. There are rivers and streams in it. There are bogs in my townland and they are called Drumhilla. There is no wood in it now. There is another place called haw forth where fairies lived long ago. There is a story about it too. Once upon a time there lived people near haw fort
