   White James & John, the Master too,
   Bartley Boylan & Maggie Curran.

   And Ned Mc Cormack with legs astride
   Would play his notes so true.
   And the rattle of brogues to the "Heathery Brass"
   IN the far-famed number Two.
   (No 2 was house where they used to dance. There were 2 houses in one street).

   I often went on a Sunday Eve
   On the Garron rocks to sit
