    Francis Travers of Calleagh. He was a great maker of songs and poems. He is dead about three years ago. He made "The Red River Valley". He used to sign great songs.

  2. The greatest poet round here was poet McKenna. He lived above Newbliss. it was said that he could make a song while walking, sitting or at anything else.
    Rhymer McGurk was so called because he used to make rhymes. Patrick Fitzpatrick was a great maker of songs. He made songs at a dance at Greenan's Cross. Everyone that was at the dance was put into the song
