  1. In Cornahoe on the land of Patrick Murphy there is a cave. he scholars of the National School Lisnagrieve went to visit it one day. When we arrived at the place where the cave was, some of the boys went down one by one. When they came back some time afterwards they said - When they went down a little the cave widened out, and was roofed on top by flag stones. Some of them said when they hit the walls they heard the sound of a fiddle. When they had gone down some length the way was blocked where the wall had fallen in and so they could get no further. At the foot of the hill in which this cave is there is two great trees growing over a well which is overgrown by weeds.
