It is said that every plant that grows in the land can cure wounds. The rough side of a cabbage or ivy leaf can draw a wound and the smooth side can heal a wound.
It is said that the plant that grows in the bog can cure a sore throat. The chicken-weed is a good cure for a sore eye. These cures are used in remote places where there is no doctor. There is an herb which is called the seaweed, and it is used for making iodine which is used for curing sores.
