  1. A poet named Mr Robinson lived in Loughfuder in Knocknagoshel about twenty years ago. He made the following poem at the request of George Barry a tinsman whom the Parish Priest would not marry because of a crime he committed:-
    "Most worthy and kindhearted Reverend Priest,
    George Barry implores to be bound and released,
    Bound to a wife but released from his sin
    Which makes him an outcast inspite of his tin,
    George is a tinsman sure no man can grudge him
    His character is stainless inspite of his budget,
