There is a little bridge that separates the parishes of Killeenterna and Castleisland near to Saint Finian's Church. The name of this little bridge has kept for us the name of the small church at which the Castleislanders worshipped perhaps for a hundred years before the arrival of the Anglo-Normans in Kerry. The name of this bridge is 'Droichedeen Kilfinane' that is the little bridge near to Saint Finian's Church. There is a small swampy field between this little bridge and Saint Finian's Church.
