- About thirty years ago, a great snow storm was heard of in Kerry, it was actually 4½ feet deep, and nobody could venture outside their doors, because the ground was like a white coverlet of snow, for about a week afterwards.
There was a terrible thunderstorm on the of the moving bog in Killarney, happened about forty years ago. Many houses were knocked down, and heads of sheep lost, on that night. About the year 1887 there was a terrible flood in Kerry.
