- (continued from previous page)in the road. Every night after his wife going into the new house the clothes used to be pulled out of the bed from her.
- Formerly Duagh village was built on the banks of the Feale. Near the village there was a ford in the river and it was very dark as it was overshadowed by trees.
From this the village got the name Duagh, properly Dubháth - Collector
