    You come to the castle majestic and old,
    Shining forth in the sun like a castle of gold.
    It now shelters the sheep from its ocean's rough blast
    While its history records a strange tale of the past.
    The Randies and Warren are too worth a visit
    And wild Knockán, don't go home until you see it.

    Mother Nature has showered with a lavishing hand,
    Her beauties go leór on this picturesque land.
    'Tis night and along by the harbour now stray,
    While the moon's silvery lamp lights you on your own way.
    Every wavelet is tinselled and sparkling and white
    And Barrow seems lovlier than ever at night.
