Bows + arrows were made. The hazel rod or sally rod was best for the bow - and thin hazel shoots, pointed were used for arrows.
Kites were made with two light laths + paper or thin cloth - the tail was a long twin with little bits of sticks - or pieces of biscuit box to balance it.
Doll's houses are made from cardboard boxes, a paste made from flour + water being used for sticking doors, windows curtains etc.
