    The Tailor.
    A shovel was put between two stools. Two sods were put under the ends of the shovel. A man sat tailor wise on the shovel and tried to dislodge the sods of turf without falling from the handle.
    Old Father Brown.
    This seems to have been a variation of My Nine Daughters - being played in the same way except that the words
    "Fr Brown Fr Brown" were used before the words "Here comes a young man" This game was played widely in Mayo and consisted of some fifteen or sixteen verses - the words are possibly to be found yet in that area.
