   My grandfather once said of a story about milking. There was once a man named Pat Connelly. He lived by himself. He milked his cow in the field and always sang the same song to keep away the fairies. One day Pat took very sick and was in bed for a few days. A neighbour came to take care of him. When she went out to the field to milk the cow she tried to milk her but she would not let her. At last she went in and told Pat. He told her what song to sing. She then went out and milked the
