  1. There are many old proverbs and old sayings used by the old people at home and there is much sense and meaning in most of them.
    We hear many of those proverbs very often such as:-
    "a rolling stone gathers no moss".
    This is applied to persons who are making themselves poor by constantly changing their employment or place of residence a stone gathers moss only when it lies still a long time.
    "Empty vessel make most noise"
    Persons who have least knowledge and merit are usually great talkers and boasters.
    "Do not ride a free horse to death".
    When a person is willing to escort himself it is too common an injustice to impose on him by making him bear.
