- There is a local road leading from Riverstown to Drumfin. it is called the Coopershill road because it runs through Mr O'Hara's demesne. It is two miles long and it is very nice in the summer time: it is lined with trees each side. There is another loacal road which leads from here to Lough Arrow.
These two roads are old ones, they were made about two hundred years ago.
These roads were made in relief work in the thime of the Famine Period. There is a by way at a house called Mrs Lauson's. It is about a mile from the school. This road used to lead from Sligo to Dublin.
People use it yet because it leads to their homes.
This road has a lo of branches running from it to other places.
