    At that time thee were in the country what were known as poor-scholars and to one of these the man showed the writing. Having examined the jar the poor-scholar said that if he would dig at the other side of of the tree he would get twice as big a jar of gold. The Irishman began to work immediately and soon found twice as big a jar which proved tha the poor-scholar was right.
