- There is a rath on Sheirdan's hill in the townland of Culfada [?]. About 100 years ago two men named Tom and Patrick McGoldrick removed the stones to build a cow-house and they built an additional room to their dwelling house.
When they had the cow-house built they put six cattle into it and in the morning the six cattle were dead.
In the room which they built they used to sleep and every night the fairies came to the room.
The men saw many-coloured lights and the fairies used dance and swing. The men could not sleep and a dog used cry at the window. In a short time the two men died.
