Ar an leathanach seo
- I live in the townland of Rathnarrow in the Parish of Collooney, and the Barony of Leyny. There are seventeen families living in the townland, and about eighty people altogether.
My townland gets its name fromt he Irish word (Rath-an-arbhair) which means the fort of the corn. Evidently the farmers were in the habit of sowing corn on or near the many forts in my district.
The commonest family0name in my district is Quigley: In one part of the townland there are four families of this(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)
