Near to the village of Easkey there is a treasure hidden in a field. This treasure consists of jewels and war implements.
Several times men went to search for these jewels but they were disappointed.
On one occasion two men dug away part of the earth but could not continue in their work because they heard a particular sound.
The people believe that an old woman is guarding these jewels, and she can be seen on some occasions, one this particular spot.
Furthermore when a person dies in the locality this little woman is heard to cry.
