  1. There was a man from Calry one time long ago walking on the mountains looking for sheep. He sat on a bank to smoke. When he put his hand in his pocket his pipe and tobacco were missing .He was very lonely as he was very fond of a smoke. He pulled a bit of heather to chew it.
Then he saw a pipe full of tobacco beside him. He lit his pipe and smoked his fill. Then he examined the pipe and saw it was quite full.
He kept the pipe for a long time and he never had to refill it.
One day he gave it to a neighbour who asked him for a smoke. He said it was a bit stiff and that it would want to be picked and filled. He told him to do so and ever afterwards it was like any ordinary pipe and had to be refilled after every smoke.
