    jumped down from a tree and lifted Paddy over his shoulder and ran away with him. In a minute they were on Nephin Beg in Co. Mayo. Then the ghost said,
    "There will be a hurling match here tonight between the Munster and Connaught fairies."
    Paddy and the ghost waited until the fairies came and the hurling match started.
    Every time the fairies of Connaught drove the ball forward, Paddy cheered.
    The Connaught fairies won and the ghost gave Paddy a magic pot because he was in favour of the Connaught fairies also.
    When Paddy went home his wife began to scold him for being away so long. Then Paddy took the pot the ghost gave him and put it on the floor and struck the lid with his fist three times and asked for beef.
