- (ar lean ón leathanach roimhe)to the people when they required them.Many other places in the neighbourhood of Grange have Irish names also, such as, Cloontyprucklish, Streeda, Aughagad, Rinroe and Barnes."Cloontyprucklish" is supposed to be made of "cluainte" and "proclas" which means the lawns of the badger warren."Aughagad" is made up of the Irish words "achadh" and "gad" and means the field of the gads or withes."Streeda" means a stripe of land. At this place a piece of land runs out into the sea."Rinroe" consists of the Irish words "rinn" and "ruadh" and means the red point. A piece of land in this townland also runs out into the sea.
