    Fr Moriarty was a curate in Miltown about sixty years ago. He was buried in the old chapel and when the new chapel was built his remains were transferred there.

    About sixty years ago there was a mission in Keel. The missioners were great preachers and the people were very lonesome after them and a man named Courney who lived at the Whitegate made them the following verses about them and Fr. Con Sheahan the Parish Priest who was also a great preacher.
    Ye Roman catholics around this Diocese pray lend your aid while those lines I write.
    Four holy Fathers and pious clergies that our worthy bishop did of late unite.
    To preach the gospel from its full foundation as
