    When he died he was buried in the Rae's tomb in Keel graveyard. In a year's time when the tomb was opened the coffin was decayed away and the corpse was quite sound. By Rae's orders he was taken out and buried in the field outside the church.

  2. There was a landlord living in this district about sixty years ago. His name was Langford Rae.
    The people had different opinions of him for he used to evict some people, and other people got their land and on account of that some people liked him and others did not.
    Sometimes rich people gave him a lot of money and whatever person's land they wished for, he would evict him for no reason at all and he would give his land to the rich people.
    Some of these people who were evicted went to foreign countries and others built huts at the foot of the mountain and from time to time they cultivated little bits of the mountain
