He gave the clothes tot he poor man and he carried the corpse into the rich man's house and he put it sitting near the fire. When the man saw his sister-in-law in the house next morning he told his wife that she should bury what belonged to the dead woman or that she would haunt them as long as they lived.
His wife told him that she had more clothes belonging to the dead woman. Then he carried the copse to the church and he buried it would the clothes. The servant was listening to the conversation, and he went that night to the graveyard, he dug up the corpse again and he gave the clothes to the poor man. He put the corpse against the rich man's bedroom door.
When the man opened the door next morning the corpse fell into the room. The man told his wife that she must have something left that belonged to her dead sister. She told him that she had nothing left only fifty pounds. The man forced her to give him the money because he would prefer to bury it than to have the dead woman haunting him. "That is better again" said the servant to himself. to He went to tell the poor man at the first opportunity. "Well" said the poor man I will go with you to-night".
