- The bread used in olden times was different from the bread they use now.
The bread they used long ago was made of wheat that they ground in Camp in a place called [?].
Some of the people had querns in the olden times for grinding the corn but no one has them now.
About fifty years ago when the people had the potatoes dug they had a great feast called the clabsúr and in this feast they had a food called steaimpi and this food was made of potatoes.
This loaf was baked in a bastable oven and sometimes in a greidill.
There is a cross put on every loaf so that it would rise.- Collector
